Sonic Summary

We are recruiting for a Night Shunter position based in Bedford, working Monday to Friday.
The role involves ensuring trailer availability, controlling yard space, and auditing trailer movements.
Good communication skills are required as the role involves using a 2-way radio and liaising with staff.
Previous shunting (TUG) experience is essential for this position.
The pay rates are £18.00 per hour, or £20.17 including holiday pay.

We are recruiting for Night Shunter for our customer based in Bedford.

This position is Mondy to Friday (Apply online only)

Duties will include but are not limited to;

Working closely with Transport to ensure trailer availability at the required times for loading.
Control of yard space and bays at ensure a smooth and safe operation.
Audit trailer of trailer movements via tracking sheets.
Good communication as you will be required to communicate via a 2-way radio.
Liaising with staff to ensure to fully understand trailer requirement for next loading bay.
Vehicle checks to be completed to ensure a 0-defect adherence
Monitoring and presentation of service/MOT Trailers.

Previous shunting (TUG) experience is essential.

Paye Rates

£18.00 Monday to Friday / £20.17 including holiday
