An exciting opportunity has arisen for Registered Manager with experience in managing residential care or children's services to join an independent social service organisation, offering supported accommodation for young people aged 16 and over.

In this role, you will oversee the smooth operation of the centre, ensuring exceptional care, safeguarding, and staff management.

You will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring that each family has a well-developed placement plan and risk assessment in place, regularly reviewed for the children’s care, education, and health needs.
  • Managing and overseeing the parenting assessments, ensuring they are completed within the required legal timeframes.
  • Leading a motivated staff team by providing supervision, guidance, and support in line with care regulations.
  • Managing child protection concerns and addressing complaints in line with safeguarding protocols.
  • Liaising with various professionals such as Local Authorities, schools, and health services to secure the best outcomes for children.
  • Ensuring compliance with Residential Family Centre Regulations and National Minimum Standards, alongside preparing for inspections by relevant regulatory bodies.

What we are looking for:

  • Previously worked as a Registered Manager or in a similar role.
  • Experience in managing residential care or children's services within the last 5 years.
  • A recognised Level 5 Diploma in management or an equivalent qualification in social work.
  • Understanding of safeguarding and child protection processes.
  • Clear Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
