- Answering incoming calls from customers and sales personnel
- Checking incoming sales orders for accuracy
- Co-ordinating customer returns and raising credit notes
- Some aspects of sales through promotional activity and up selling
- Ensure follow up by passing sales leads to account managers where required and keep tabs on the outcome
- Handle in-bound, unsolicited prospect calls and convert them into sales.
- Make outbound follow up calls to existing account base via telephone, E-mail etc
- Attend periodic sales/product training when required
- Emphasise product/service, features and benefits of product range and company
- Computer / IT (SAP /Qlikview would be of benefit)
- Office, Excel (to reasonable level) and Outlook
- Excellent telephone manner
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Able to build and develop lasting relationships with customers
- Able to perform basic calculations and mathematical figures
- Excellent communication skills (Verbal / Written)
- Capable of organising and prioritising workloads
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Working in a busy office environment
