We are excited to offer an outstanding opportunity for a Multi Skilled Engineer with a strong electrical bias to join our dynamic team in Desborough. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct planned maintenance, inspections, and improvements of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Respond promptly to breakdowns, diagnosing and repairing issues effectively to minimize downtime.
  • Participate in project work, including the installation, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance of equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with both internal and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate closely with the engineering team to communicate maintenance issues and results, ensuring transparency.
  • Provide support to fellow engineers as needed, fostering a smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Manage spare parts requests and liaise with manufacturers for technical guidance.
  • Ensure smooth shift handovers to maintain the facility’s continuous operation.
  • Keep work areas clean and organized to uphold a safe and efficient environment.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven experience in fault finding, diagnosis, and repair of industrial machinery.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is advantageous.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings and technical documents.
  • Solid knowledge of steam, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, with skills in PLC fault finding.
