We are currently recruiting an Electrical Technician to support the production and maintenance of specialist laboratory testing equipment for a leading company in Northamptonshire.
Responsibilities include:
- Wire a range of machinery/ equipment from wiring diagrams, commission, quality check and calibrate equipment to meet deadlines
- Conduct on-site installations, fault-finding and repairs both within the UK and overseas.
- Support the development of prototypes.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of product designs
- Support final build quality checks
- Review documentation of build process.
Ideal candidates will have
A level 3 qualification in electrical installation/ wiring and be skilled in reading and interpreting electrical drawings.
Experience in panel wiring and a PAT qualification are desirable.
This role will involve some travel both within the UK and internationally - 1-5 weeks a year and a full driving licence is required
