Sonic Summary

We are seeking an Electrical Technician to assist with the production and maintenance of specialized laboratory testing equipment in Northamptonshire.
Candidates should have a Level 3 qualification in electrical installation/wiring and experience in panel wiring is desirable.
The role involves wiring machinery, conducting installations, fault-finding, and supporting prototype development, with some travel required.
A full driving license is necessary, and candidates must be eligible to work in the UK as the company cannot sponsor visas.
The salary for this position is competitive, though specific figures are not mentioned, and relevant experience is preferred.

We are currently recruiting an Electrical Technician to support the production and maintenance of specialist laboratory testing equipment for a leading company in Northamptonshire.

Responsibilities include:

Wire a range of machinery/ equipment from wiring diagrams, commission, quality check and calibrate equipment to meet deadlines
Conduct on-site installations, fault-finding and repairs both within the UK and overseas.
Support the development of prototypes.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of product designs
Support final build quality checks
Review documentation of build process.

Ideal candidates will have

A level 3 qualification in electrical installation/ wiring and be skilled in reading and interpreting electrical drawings.

Experience in panel wiring and a PAT qualification are desirable.

This role will involve some travel both within the UK and internationally - 1-5 weeks a year and a full driving licence is required
