We are excited to recruit a Costings Assistant for a well-established, growing business based in Desborough, Northamptonshire. This is a permanent, office-based role offering a competitive salary of £25,000 to £28,000, along with opportunities for study support and professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and costings in PLM and ERP systems.
  • Calculate and analyze fabric, lace, and accessory usages.
  • Create detailed lace placements for factory use.
  • Calculate ratios and transfer BOMs from PLM to ERP.
  • Interpret and implement GSD data.
  • Participate proactively in costings projects.
  • Assist in resolving costings queries from factories and internal departments.
  • Attend operational product development meetings.
  • Provide support to senior team members and cover for other costing team members as needed.

Attributes Required:

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels.
  • Proactive, able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with PLM systems and garment construction is beneficial.
  • A logical, analytical approach to problem-solving.
  • Enthusiasm for learning and curiosity about the industry.
