- Leading or assisting in the delivery of planning policy and design guidance, and managing evidence base projects.
- Supporting place-shaping projects through research, stakeholder engagement, and analysis.
- Representing the Council at hearings, public events, and meetings, and contributing to Local Plan objectives.
- A relevant degree or equivalent qualification that allows access to Chartered Membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI).
- Licentiate membership of the RTPI (or equivalent).
- Demonstrated experience of working on a range of planning policy projects or non-major planning applications.
- Chartered Membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (or equivalent).
- Experience using GIS and computerised planning systems.
- Ability to carry out site visits across varied and potentially challenging outdoor locations.
