National Account Manager - £45k-55k + £6k car and up to £10k comms 1st year - 2 days in the office - 3 days visiting customer and prospects.

Our client is a fast-growing supplier of high-quality products to the UK commercial construction industry. They sell products from market-leading brands while also offering customers their own in-house brand.

They are now looking for a self-motivated, organised individual with effective communication and negotiation skills who can build and maintain key account relationships. In return, they offer the opportunity to work for an exciting, fast-paced company that allows individuals the opportunity to develop in the business. This is a full-time flexible position, likely to be two days per week working from the office in Kettering, Northamptonshire and three days in face to face or remote meetings with customers.

Key Role

They National Account Manager will work alongside the internal sales team to strengthen relationships with key accounts. Your objective is to maximise revenue and achieve business objectives through effective account management. You will Identify opportunities to expand and grow existing key accounts and will play a vital role in building long term customer loyalty. You will find and develop new business opportunities with targeted customers, provide great service, technical expertise, upselling, and cross selling, all which drives sales growth and contributes to the companys overall success.

Responsibilities

· Proactively book and attend daily appointments leading to successful negotiations and secured future business.

· Generate new business opportunities and convert them into long term key accounts.

· Achieve sales targets set and provide reports to track productivity and performance.

· Act as a liaison between the company and its key accounts, handling any queries that may arise to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

· Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.

· Educate customers on new products and services to maximise their use of what the company offers.

· Attend a monthly sales meeting to update the Director on progress made and plan for the month ahead.

Additional Responsibilities

· Manage major projects over £100K, follow up all projects in a timely manner, effectively project manage these to secure an order.

· Deliver CPD presentations to our target audience.

· Complete any face-to-face specification appointments and produce the written specification as per the clients requirements.

· From time-to-time complete tasks in addition to those noted above to ensure smooth running of the business.
