Job Description:
We are currently looking for a teacher for SEMH school in Kidderminster.
This role is working across different age groups of pupils in small class sizes of up to 10 pupils per class.
This role does not involve planning as this will be provided by the school but some adapting lessons and marking may be required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach the children the curriculum, planning all classroom lessons.
- Adapt lesson plans when needed to work with the needs of the children that day
- Provide feedback to parents, the school and the agency at the end of the day.
- Managing behaviour and maintaining a safe and inclusive classroom atmosphere
- Work with the teaching assistants in the class to offer any additional support needed to pupils
Requirements:
- You must have a relevant teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, QTS etc)
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A positive and compassionate attitude towards students
- A valid right to work in the UK
- Experience working within a SEMH / SEN school
