The Role:
As a CNC Miller, youll play a key role in the production process, working on small batch components using varied materials. Responsibilities include:
  • Programming, setting, and operating 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC milling machines with Heidenhain controls.
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings to ensure high-precision results on tight tolerances.
  • Performing quality checks using micrometers, verniers, and other inspection tools.
  • Contributing to process improvements to enhance efficiency and output.
  • Supporting the production team to meet cost, quality, and delivery targets.

About You:
  • Proven experience programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines (Heidenhain controls preferred).
  • A strong understanding of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes.
  • Proficiency in using inspection equipment to ensure quality standards.
  • A flexible, can-do attitude to meet business needs, including covering holidays and working alternative hours when required.
  • Experience in sub-contract machining or production environments is highly desirable.
