GMP Recruitment are proud to be partnered with a vastly successful market leading manufacturing and construction related, fabrication company. We are supporting their recruitment for an Internal Sales Executive to join their every growing team on a full time, permanent contract, located in Kidderminster, to be the first point of internal contact for all customer queries as well as proactively developing business within the UK. You will look to add to the customer base by contacting prospective customers and tracking upcoming requirements to maximise any opportunities.

To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate previous experience in B2B telesales with experience of drywall and construction. Experience with costing and pricing would also be advantageous.

This is an office-based position, working Monday - Friday offering a salary up to 27K which is pending experience, plus excellent company benefits.

The successful Internal Sales Executive will be a career motivated individual with excellent communication and office-based skills including EXCEL, MS Office, Outlook, CRM and have a real commitment to exceeding our customers' expectations. We want to see a background in sales support, sales administration/customer services and experience or familiarity with building products, construction materials, or a technical/manufactured product would also be beneficial.

Internal Sales Executive main duties:

You will ensure that customers are given the highest level of customer service.

Provide a full portfolio of account management services including pricing, margin considerations and managing orders.

Following up on quotations and management of the sales pipeline.

Act as the first point of internal contact for all customer queries.

Proactively develop new business within a UK region

Internal Sales Executive required skills and experience:

Microsoft / Opera and CRM software experience

Previous experience B2B / telesales experience

Confident communication skills including phone and email

Strong problem-solving attitude

The ability to work as part of a team to achieve the aims of the company

Ideal - experience of costing and pricing.
