The Duties of a Mechanical Fitter:
*Assemble, install, and repair mechanical systems and machinery according to specifications.
*Inspect machinery to identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues efficiently.
*Perform maintenance tasks, including adjustments and parts replacements, to ensure optimal machine performance.
*Utilise hand and power tools to complete repairs and installations.
*Work from technical drawings and diagrams to ensure accurate assembly of components.
*Maintain and clean equipment regularly to prevent downtime.
*Work with the manufacturing team to meet production targets.
The Requirements of a Mechanical Fitter:
*Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
*Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and mechanical schematics.
*Skilled in the use of various hand and power tools.
*Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
