Senior Stress Engineer - 40,000 to 60,000 + benefits
Location: Kidderminster

I am hiring for an experienced Stress Engineer who will be a crucial part in the development of all the phases in the project lifecycle. You would be focusing on Linear/Non Linear static analysis and will be conducting Finite Element Analysis utilising Abaqus.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA) on rocket motor hardware and propellant charges.
- Use software tools including Abaqus, Altair-Hyperworks, Fortran, and Matlab.
- Develop and assess structural test plans.
- Act as the structural technical authority for multiple projects.
- Support customer meetings, design reviews, and certification processes.

Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Abaqus FEA Software and Microsoft Office.
- Strong knowledge of material science (composites, viscoelastic materials, adhesives).
- Experience with CAD modelling and Altair-Hyperworks (advantageous).
