Are you passionate about supporting individuals through their housing journey? Do you have experience in providing housing solutions and managing relocations? Think Community Partnership are looking for a dedicated Lettings/Allocations Officer to join a Worcestershire based housing association on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
About the Role:
As a Lettings/Allocations Officer you will play a pivotal role in supporting tenants who need to relocate, ensuring they experience a smooth and positive transition. Working across Worcestershire, you will assist tenants in identifying suitable accommodation, coordinate moves, and provide advice on housing options.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the relocation process for tenants, from initial consultation to move-in.
- Identify suitable properties and liaise with tenants regarding their preferences and needs.
- Provide support to tenants throughout the move, ensuring they have access to services and resources.
- Work closely with internal teams, including Housing Management, to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with housing policies, regulations, and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of relocations, tenant communications, and property details.
- Provide advice on tenancy agreements and housing rights.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Previous experience in a housing or relocations role, preferably within a housing association.
- Knowledge of housing legislation, tenancy rights, and welfare services.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage sensitive situations.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple caseloads.
- Proficient in IT systems and databases related to housing management.
- A valid driving license and willingness to travel across Worcestershire as required.
