The role involves overseeing electrical installations, commissioning, and maintaining advanced smoke ventilation systems, all while ensuring compliance with fire safety standards.

What You'll Do

  • Installation & Commissioning: Lead the planning and execution of electrical systems, from wiring and power distribution to integrating with BMS and fire alarms.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure all systems meet UK and international fire safety regulations.
  • Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Diagnose issues and keep systems running efficiently.
  • Leadership: Supervise and mentor a junior team member (Engineer or Apprentice), setting the standard for quality and performance.
  • Collaboration: Work with contractors and multidisciplinary teams to deliver seamless project outcomes.

What You'll Bring

  • Essential Qualifications:
    • SSSTS
    • ECS Gold Card
    • BS7671 18th Edition
    • C&G 2391 Test and Inspection (or equivalent)
    • Full UK Driving Licence
    • PASMA & IPAF certifications
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership and mentoring ability
    • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
    • Competence in reading technical drawings and delivering projects to tight deadlines
