The role involves overseeing electrical installations, commissioning, and maintaining advanced smoke ventilation systems, all while ensuring compliance with fire safety standards.
What You'll Do
- Installation & Commissioning: Lead the planning and execution of electrical systems, from wiring and power distribution to integrating with BMS and fire alarms.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all systems meet UK and international fire safety regulations.
- Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Diagnose issues and keep systems running efficiently.
- Leadership: Supervise and mentor a junior team member (Engineer or Apprentice), setting the standard for quality and performance.
- Collaboration: Work with contractors and multidisciplinary teams to deliver seamless project outcomes.
What You'll Bring
- Essential Qualifications:
- SSSTS
- ECS Gold Card
- BS7671 18th Edition
- C&G 2391 Test and Inspection (or equivalent)
- Full UK Driving Licence
- PASMA & IPAF certifications
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and mentoring ability
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Competence in reading technical drawings and delivering projects to tight deadlines
