Salary: £50,000 (negotiable depending on experience)

With the company's significant expansion in the UK, this role focuses on overseeing field service teams, specifically within the coffee industry. Primary Responsibilities:
- Engineer Productivity:
- As a Regional Service Manager, you will lead and optimize a team of Senior Service Engineers, ensuring they operate efficiently with the resources provided.
- Ensure optimal allocation of equipment and personnel to maximize productivity in the region.
- Team Development:
- Drive training and professional development for Senior Service Engineers, ensuring a collaborative and constructive team environment.
- As the Regional Service Manager, youll regularly conduct performance reviews and team meetings to align with operational goals and strategies.
- Process Compliance:
- Ensure your teams follow all relevant processes and procedures.
- As a Regional Service Manager, youll act as the key user for internal systems like SIPS, ensuring smooth service operations.
- Team Leadership:
- Provide leadership and management for the regional service teams, offering constructive feedback and fostering teamwork.
- In your role as Regional Service Manager, you'll oversee recruitment for new engineers and assist with integrating new hires into the team.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Continuously assess and improve service operations within the region.
- Use KPIs to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement to ensure sustained regional success.
- Customer Focus:
- Act as a representative of the company to key accounts in your region, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Monitor feedback from customers and ensure corrective actions are taken when needed.
- Resource Management:
- Manage spare parts usage and van stock across your team to ensure efficiency.
- Approve engineer overtime and travel expenses within the region.
- Sales and Business Development:
- Identify and act on new business opportunities for service contracts and machine placements, working closely with the sales team to expand market presence.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Education & Knowledge:
- Experience within the coffee industry is a must.
- A strong technical background or familiarity with coffee machine equipment and service contracts is highly desirable.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Proficiency with service management tools (e.g., dispatching, route planning).
- Attributes:
- A customer-centric mindset with strong business acumen.
- Highly autonomous, proactive, and able to handle issues independently while ensuring team compliance with health and safety standards.
Additional Information:
- Travel: Regular travel within the assigned region, with occasional nationwide travel and overnight stays as required.
