Salary:

£560 - £640 Per week

Job Duties:

To undertake welding and fabricating duties, as required, in accordance with the company’s quality standards and best engineering working practices

• To undertake activities in a timely and efficient manner in order to maintain company contractual delivery requirements

• To assist, where required, in peripheral activities, e.g., testing, assembly, packing, etc.

• To undertake activities with the management, H&S and environmental systems.

Relevant experience

Must be experienced in the use of T.I.G & M.I.G welding processes

• Must have experience of coded welding in carbon & stainless steels

• Experience of S.M.A.W. welding is preferred but not essential

• General fabrication experience is essential

• Welding of other exotic materials is an advantage but not essential

• Minimum GCSE Grade 4 (equivalent grade C) or higher in Maths & English is preferred but not essential

Experience:

Working from engineering drawings

Working to welding procedures Verbal and written communication skills

Professional personal presentation

Willingness to be flexible

Initiative, Reliability and attention to detail.

Knowledge and Skills:

Proficient in various welding techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG, ARC), ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, knowledge of different types of metals and their properties, good problem-solving skills, and a commitment to quality workmanship.
