An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious, qualified Management Accountant to join AIM listed Facilities by ADF Plc (‘ADF'). The role is at its newly acquired subsidiary Autotrak Portable Roadways Limited (‘Autotrak'), based at its offices in Kidlington, Oxford.

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 Per Annum + Benefits

Reports to: Deputy Chief Financial Officer, based in ADF's corporate head-office in Bridgend, South Wales

About Us:

Facilities by ADF plc is the leading provider of premium serviced production facilities to the Film and High-End TV industry, with a fleet of over 700 make-up, costume and artiste trailers, mobile production offices, school rooms, toilets and diners.

ADF works with many of the world's largest production companies such as Netflix, Apple, Amazon Prime, BBC, ITV and Sky on productions such as The Crown, Star Wars Andor, Slow Horses, The Witcher, The Gentleman and many others.

ADF's vision is to build is ‘one-stop-shop' for services required for film and High End TV production. Having established a dominant position in the market for the facilities it provides, ADF acquired Location One in November 2022, the leading provider of location facilities.

ADF followed this up with the recent acquisition of Autotrak in a deal worth £21.3M in Sep-24. Autotrak is the UK's leading provider of portable roadway to the Film & TV industry. Recent customers have included Skyfall, Bridgerton, Mad Max, Star Wars Rogue One and The Rings of Power.

Autotrak's FY23 revenues were £8.3M and adjusted EBITDA £4.3M and plans to invest in additional roadway over the next 3 years will significantly build on their strong market position. The acquisition endorses ADFs aspiration of generating £100M turnover in the medium term

Management Accountant - The Role:

The role will be highly hands-on to start, working closely with our long-standing Administrative Manager will be transitioning out of the business over the next 6-12 months. You will also collaborate with our external accountants, who have historically provided support for annual accounts and tax matters. This position offers excellent career progression as both the company and the wider group continue to grow and evolve.

Management Accountant - Key Responsibilities:

- Preparation of monthly management accounts to set reporting deadlines

- Periodic and monthly profit and cash-flow forecasting

- Input to group half-year and year-end reporting

- Liaising with company auditors

- Preparation of annual statutory accounts, ensuring full adherence to UKGAAP and IFRS

- Running the payroll in SAGE for approx. 30 staff

- Submission of all HMRC filings - VAT, PAYE, NIC, Corporation tax etc

- Maintenance of relevant control account reconciliations and journal entries

- Negotiation of terms with suppliers

- Supporting the business in managing the business costs and optimising its profits

- Managing and processing day-to-day financial information - receipts, payments, purchase invoices, sales invoices, expenses etc as appropriate

- Providing support for, and leading as necessary, team and group-wide projects that align with the strategic direction of the finance function

Management Accountant - You:

Essential requirements:

- Fully ACCA qualified with 3-5 years of experience

- Takes responsibility for high-quality work and meeting deadlines

- Acts independently, eager to learn and take on new challenges

- Strong business insight with the ability to question trends and forecast

- Team player, able to motivate and exchange ideas effectively

- Excellent organizational skills, adept at prioritizing and managing expectations

- Proactive problem solver, delivering valuable results

- Proficient in IT, including Word, Excel; systems experience is a plus

Desirable:

- Prior experience in managing assets is advantageous, but not mandatory

- Desirable to have technical and regulatory expertise

- Knowledge of SAGE Accounting procedures
