An impressive business in the aviation industry is looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join their finance team. You will work directly with the FC as their number two.
Your new role
Your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Preparation and presentation of monthly management accounts for three entities
- Daily review of the ledger postings
- Monthly manual journal postings to include accruals, pre-payments, deferred income, depreciation and payroll
- Calculation and submission of entity VAT returns
- Bank postings & reconciliations
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Preparation of annual accounts and liaising with auditors
- Support the FC in process improvement
- Support finance team members
What you'll need to succeed
You must be a confident, experienced Management Accountant who can hit the ground running and work with minimal supervision and instruction. Experience in producing full management accounting packs and reporting is essential, ideally with broad exposure from an SME background. Previous practice sector experience is desirable.
What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary of £45-50k plus a discretionary annual bonus. The role will be full-time in the office but with flexibility around start and finish times and flexibility to work from home if and when required.
