Corporate Support Officer

Location: Work from home / Oxford - Town HallSalary per hour: £12.49 PAYE//£15.28 Ltd UmbrellaHours per week: 37

As a key member of the Corporate Support Team, you’ll provide essential support services such as scanning, printing, digitising, and post services.

Day-to-day Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support across the Post room, Printing, and Scanning team to ensure excellent delivery of customer service.
  • Sort and distribute post, manage signed records, and notify customers of receipt.
  • Process correspondence and electronic communications including scanning, indexing, and importing documents and data as required.
  • Download and process Planning Portal applications daily and prepare documents for validation.
  • Scan and upload public comments daily, ensuring compliance with data protection by redacting personal and confidential information.
  • Handle scanning and indexing of complete/archived planning and building control applications.
  • Manage print and copier unit requests within agreed timescales.
  • Perform daily printing of letters and invoices for all departments and process letters produced by remote workers.
  • Pack large mail outs using folding inserter equipment and check outgoing mail to meet Royal Mail standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in data processing is preferred, but not essential as full training will be provided.
  • Proficient in using ICT systems quickly and accurately, including good typing skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritise and organise work to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
