Previous experience in a construction or facilities maintenance role is essential.
Experience required:
- 2 years minimum in facilities administration
- Knowledge of compliance and legislation in a maintenance capacity
- Knowledge of H&S documentation and certifications
In this position you will be responsible for providing a high level of administrative support to the senior staff on site, you will be acting as a central point of contact for the maintenance department.
Assisting with the coordination of the planned maintenance on site, working with staff and contractors.
Applicants should have a working knowledge of Microsoft programmes, Excel and Word and have experience inputting data and creating reports.
The successful applicant will possess the following essential skills :
- Be highly organised
- Have the ability to organise their own workload
- Knowledge of health and safety documentation
- Be able organise meetings with contractors on site and diarise at the request of the Head of Maintenance or Maintenance Works Supervisor
Duties of the role
- Maintain all health & safety, risk assessment and COSH record
- Organise H&S training for departments
- Organise contractors to service the buildings
