Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Software Manager to lead and inspire a dynamic team of talented engineers and sales professionals. In this role, you will be the driving force behind technical excellence and business growth, overseeing profit and loss and spearheading the operational strategy of the group's newest tech division. You will play a key role in developing sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive revenue and expand market presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the design, development, and deployment of scalable software solutions.
  • Lead business development initiatives by identifying new sales opportunities and collaborating with the sales team to expand the client base.
  • Drive revenue growth by aligning technical efforts with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Development, to enhance go-to-market strategies.
  • Establish and enforce best practices for software development, code quality, and agile methodologies.
  • Monitor project progress, manage resources, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.
  • Contribute to sales forecasting and market analysis, providing insights to support strategic business decisions.
  • Participate in hiring and on-boarding new engineering and sales team members.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Software Manager or in a similar leadership role.
  • Demonstrated success in business development and sales growth, ideally in a technology or software environment.
  • Strong background in software development.
  • Experience with cloud platforms and scalable architectures.
  • Strong experience in technical sales - working with software/solution sales.
  • Proven experience working with software for project and integrated management.
  • Solid understanding of agile development methodologies and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to develop and mentor both technical and sales talent.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a fast-paced start-up or enterprise environment.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of software development principles and best practices.
  • Experience collaborating with business development teams to drive customer acquisition and retention.
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a technical or relevant discipline.
