Overview:
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Data Entry Administrator to join our team within the water industry. Based in Kidlington, Oxford, this role involves managing and processing essential acoustic logging data, providing administrative support, and ensuring smooth operation across key data systems. Full training on specialised software will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Data Processing and Analysis:

    • Process and interpret raw acoustic logging data from various sources (e.g., sonic, ultrasonic, and other acoustic signals) related to water management and infrastructure.
    • Utilise specialised software tools such as Guttermann and Halma to analyse and manage acoustic data.
    • Input, update, and maintain accurate data in spreadsheets, tracking performance and productivity of deployers involved in water system assessments.
  2. System Management:

    • Efficiently update and maintain data usingbespoke systems, including GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and Netops.
    • Ensure all data is entered correctly and up to date, enabling the smooth running of operational tasks.
  3. Administrative Support:

    • Assist with the coordination of daily operational tasks, ensuring timely and accurate completion of data entry and reporting.
    • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, providing administrative support as required to ensure consistency and efficiency across projects.
  4. Compliance and Quality Assurance:

    • Ensure all data complies with company standards and relevant industry regulations, with a particular focus on water management protocols.
    • Monitor data quality and proactively identify and resolve discrepancies or issues.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot inconsistencies in data.
  • Previous experience in data entry, administration, or similar roles is advantageous.
  • Comfortable working with specialised software, including GIS and data management tools. Full training will be provided for proprietary software.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced work environment.
  • A background or interest in the water industry or environmental services would be beneficial.
