Our Oxfordshire based client is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to produce the end-to-end pay in a multi-site business.

Salary is negotiable according to skills & experience for this full-time office-based role, working Monday to Friday 37.5 hours.

This is a great opportunity to join a large, successful business and take ownership of this key role within the organisation.

Key Duties:

  • Maintaining accurate employee records within the business payroll software
  • Query resolution & investigation
  • Updating of PAYE coding change notices
  • Processing & reporting of PAYE related instructions to & from HMRC
  • Compiling payroll data
  • Nominal Journal preparation
  • Net Pay, PAYE and NIC Reconciliations
  • Company car reporting
  • SSP, SMP, SPP calculation
  • Balancing and submission of pension contributions
  • Conflict resolution for dealing with disputes between employees and managers pay enquiries

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years end to end payroll experience using established payroll software
  • Comprehensive understanding of tax and payroll legislation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with experiPence of both alpha and numeric formula
  • Computer literacy in using Microsoft Office suite and payroll software
