This Home County Authority are looking for a Pay And Reward Specialist to work within the Human Resourse Services. Details of the role are:

Looking for a team player who can collaborate with colleagues at different levels. A confident individual who can bring credibility and expertise to the reward team and wider HR Directorate. Must be confident with the use, interpretation, and reporting of data.

This is an exciting opportunity involving a combination of strategic pay and reward development as part of a whole organisation redesign programme. It will involve working with a team to conduct a large scale programme of JE, the design of job families, and development of a new pay structure to ensure the council is an Employer of Choice; competitive within the labour market. The role will also have a focus upon reviewing the council's wider reward offer, and business as usual activity for the reward team such as Gender Pay and Ethnicity reporting and overseeing deferred ill health retirement applications and appeals. It will involve working with multiple stakeholders up to Director level, in addition to local trade union representatives.
