An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Solicitor/ Associate to join their Oxford Property Disputes team.Their Property Disputes team specialises purely in real estate disputes, acting for both residential and large commercial clients across the UK.The team expect the individual to consistently deliver a high standard of legal advice to clients in a commercially astute manner and to deliver outstanding client service at all times. They would also need to assist with the marketing of the department's services and undertaking business development activities to build on the firm and team's reputation for excellence.Duties will include:
  • Manage a mixed caseload of residential disputes and commercial disputes, whilst also from time to time assisting Partners on other matters which may be more complex.
  • Build credibility with clients and develop own client relationships through managing client expectations regarding options, outcomes, risk and timescales
  • Take responsibility for managing aspects of projects that are delegated and meet deadlines
  • Support juniors in the team by giving technical, business and general advices
  • Support with budgetary management of client matters
To be successful in your application, you will:
  • Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive 4+PQE
  • Previous experience within general property litigation.
  • Exposure or interest in specialisms such as service charge disputes, TOLATA claims or property related professional negligence is very desirable
