A prominent global manufacturing organisation is seeking a Materials Analyst to join their team on a permanent basis in Oxford offering a salary of £50,000.

The Materials Analyst will play a critical role in ensuring optimal material availability for both internal and external customers, while also supporting the organisation's production and servicing operations.

This position is situated within the operations department, offering excellent opportunities for career advancement in the coming years.Role responsibilities of the Material Analyst include:

  • Ensure high levels of material availability for internal and external customers
  • Maintaining data accuracy in SAP Item Master and updating Bill of Materials for manufacturing and servicing needs
  • Execute SAP Production Orders to align with manufacturing plans and address material shortages
  • Development and monitoring of Key Performance Indicators using tools like PowerBi or SAP
  • Creating and managing a reporting system for timely and accurate data delivery across the business
  • Lead the MRP process to ensure timely purchase orders
  • Support process improvement initiatives and provide SAP guidance, becoming an expert in the system

Person Specification of the Material Analyst:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within a regulated industry
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Strong analytical abilities with experience in handling complex datasets
  • Proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills and commitment to continuous improvement
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Salary

Up to £50k

This role is hybrid, requiring at least 3 days per week onsite at the Oxford Office.
