We are seeking a dedicated Supply Chain Executive to manage our clients purchasing functions, ensuring the availability of products and raw materials for sales and production. The role involves developing relationships with approved suppliers to source high-quality products and services at competitive prices and identifying new supply opportunities.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Raise and communicate purchase orders to suppliers, maintaining accurate records including order confirmations and shipping documents.
  • Request quotations from approved suppliers and set up new supplier accounts in conjunction with Central Finance.
  • Maintain part prices on the system and chase suppliers for updated ETAs.
  • Liaise with suppliers, warehouse, and freight forwarders to schedule deliveries, including containers from overseas.
  • Utilise the company’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system for purchasing/procurement tasks and investigate potential process improvements.
  • Process orders with accuracy and speed, ensuring good working relationships with internal departments to address issues effectively.
  • Suggest process and procedure improvements for continuous efficiency gains.
  • Handle ad-hoc administrative tasks and participate in projects and team activities as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong mathematical skills.
  • ERP System knowledge would be preferable such as SAP or Oracle
  • 2+ years in a Buying role.
  • Great negotiating skills 
  • Confident in using Excel such as Pivot Tables and LookUps
  • Strong problem-solving ability and capable of working accurately under pressure.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines and targets.
  • Enthusiastic attitude, professional manner, and a quick learner.
  • Ability to multitask and absorb training and instructions to work independently.
  • Team player, willing to adapt to new challenges and assist colleagues when required.
