Voids Surveyor - Oxfordshire - Social Housing -Hybrid / Flexible (home and site) working - Client Side with Excellent Benefits - c£300 per day (CIS / Ltd Co), c£225 per day PAYE - Long Term contract work / option to go permanent

Duties for the position of Voids Surveyor in Oxfordshire include ensuring an effective void surveying service in accordance with specifications, procedures and legislation.

Some of the additional duties for the role of Voids Surveyor in Oxfordshire:

  • Delivery and monitoring of a void repair programme.
  • Surveying void properties and managing the delivery of works to time, cost and quality.
  • Undertake physical pre & post inspections of the social housing stock.
  • Identification and accurate diagnosis of complex repairs for void properties, ensuring all works are completed in a timely and effective manner to prevent unnecessary financial loss to the client.
  • Managing the repairs contractors.
  • Devising and recommending cost effective solutions to repair problems.
  • Resolve any problems with regard to project delivery.
  • Where necessary escalate to senior members of staff and other sections.
  • Provide accurate specifications to enable effective repairs

  • Have experience in delivering reactive repairs and / or voids repairs within a housing association, local authority or main contractor.
  • Be able to demonstrate clearly where your experience meets the clients requirements.
  • Have at least 3 years’ experience of working on the client or contractors’ side in delivering reactive repairs and voids.
  • Experience in the management of contractors.
  • Procurement of contracts and implementing contracts
