Job Opportunity: Plant Manager Drive Excellence in Manufacturing

Were seeking a dynamic and experienced Plant Manager to lead a manufacturing operation in Kings Lynn to new heights. If you have a passion for processes, driving efficiency, and leading teams, this role is for you!

What Youll Do:



  • Oversee the entire plant manufacturing operation, ensuring cost-efficient and timely production.
  • Identify and implement improvements using modern manufacturing techniques to boost productivity, quality, and output.
  • Collaborate with other departments to enhance quality, delivery, and build a positive team culture.
  • Apply ITW principles such as Trade Focus, Market Rate Demand, and Product Line Simplification.
  • Manage daily factory operations, maintain production plans, and ensure targets for productivity and quality are met.
  • Monitor and improve cost efficiencies, stock levels, and manufacturing methods to reduce costs.
  • Develop and implement quality and health and safety systems.
  • Lead the development and training of production staff, managing overtime and recruitment as needed.
  • Implement continuous improvements in production methods, equipment, and layouts.
What Were Looking For:


  • Proven experience in production management, with a track record of exceeding productivity and quality targets.
  • Expertise in implementing LEAN, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and other manufacturing systems.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of liaising with all levels within the company.
  • Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Experience in volume and small batch production in a semi-automated and manual environment.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing techniques and proven commercial acumen.
Qualifications:


  • Minimum HNC or equivalent in Mechanical, Electronic, Electrical, or Production Engineering.
  • Previous experience in Plant Management with a focus on continuous improvement and team development.
