Our partner school are committed to providing an outstanding education to students in King's Lynn and believe that a strong financial foundation is key to their success, and we are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented School Finance Assistant to join the team as soon as possible to support with a growing workload.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and budgeting.
  • Prepare financial reports and statements for the school management and governing body, as required.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and school policies.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Liaise with external auditors and manage the audit process.
  • Provide financial advice and support to school staff and management.

Qualifications:

  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) is preferred.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within an educational setting.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
