Area Manager | A chance to shape the business | £60,000 - £70,000

We have a unique opportunity to join a well-loved retailer as they embark on an exciting period of growth and change in 2025. We are looking for an Area Manager who can specialise in developing store performance, support senior stakeholders with key projects and add value to key partners.

This role is unique - you will be having your heart in stores but also bring a strong strategic focus to improve wider business processes. This is a fast-paced role where the new Area Manager will bring energy, drive, people skills and focus as we grow, expand and deliver success.

As a senior leader you will work with Retail Directors and strategic stakeholders to shape the business, your input, ideas and opinions are valued, respected and encouraged. As an Area Manager you will be able to trade the stores, but you will fully utilise your wider skills and experience to thrive in other areas of the business.

Our new Area Manager will be responsible for leading a high number of stores across your geographical patch, delivering a strong financial performance and exceptional levels of customer service across the board. Successful candidates must have a forward thinking and dynamic leadership style with outgoing and upbeat personality that would be able engage a large number of colleagues across the area.

Responsibilities:

During the day to day the new Area Manager will lead your stores in all areas of service excellence, deliver KPI's in line with the business objectives and ensure you are leading and motivating your teams to deliver across your area:

  • Creating a positive and engaging working environment within your sites
  • Take pride and deliver high standards in all stores
  • Able to set clear expectations in service, standards and operations
  • Managing profit & loss, budgets, sales forecasting and various other key performance indicators
  • Liaising and networking with head office, ensuring relationships are established with all key stakeholders
  • Work with Retail Directors and Head of Retail for key projects

The Package

Basic salary between £60,000 - £70,000, company car, bonus potential, generous holidays and a strong benefits package.
