We are curently recruiting for a Team leader role in King's Lynn

Own transport required due to location
Shift: Monday to Thursday AM Shift
Pay:12.00 p/h OT after 40 hrs basic15.00

Role:

  • Working in the factory, as directed by your Supervisor to ensure the smooth running of a production line and completing paperwork as required
  • Allocating individual daily tasks to your team, using the skills of the team to the best advantage, in order to achieve the production target for the day
  • Ensuring that your team carry out their allocated tasks consistently in order that the production line is not required to stop between break periods
  • Being aware of company Health & Safety policy and ensuring that you comply (e.g. ensuring safety guards are always in place; sticking to defined walkways; observing safe lifting techniques etc)
  • Being prepared to move from one task to another, as the requirements of the business dictates and promoting a good team-working environment and maintain good working relations with other teams and departments within the organisation
  • Looking after the welfare of your team and ensuring that the company policy (as laid down in the employee handbook) is adhered to
  • Ensuring that your team behaves in a responsible manner at all times, especially when working with young, inexperienced or agency workers
  • Ensuring your team obey the dress codes relating to the area you are required to work in (e.g. hard hat zones, hi-visibility vest areas etc)
  • Ensuring your team follow guidelines regarding hygiene requirements
  • Any other duties which may, from time to time, be required of you and for which you are qualified
  • Endeavouring at all times to maintain the good name and reputation of the company and endeavouring at all times to minimise waste.
