We have the rare opportunity for a Junior CAD Technician to join our clients Building Services Design Team as a Junior CAD Technician, bring buildings and spaces to life through innovative services design and cutting-edge technology. Our team of experts work together to turn ideas into tangible realities that exceed our clients' expectations.

This is the perfect role for a college leaver or someone keen for a career witin CAD and Building Services.


 Overview of the Job:

What does a junior CAD technician do?

Newly qualified and junior CAD technicians may initially work on small projects, making revisions to existing drawings. After gaining experience, your role may develop and allow you to be more involved in the design process and work on larger projects.

 As a Junior CAD Technician, you'll play a key role in turning conceptual designs into detailed technical drawings. Your technical skills and attention to detail will help us turn big ideas into even bigger projects.


 Here's what you'll be doing:

Creating detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD
Collaborating with architects and structural engineers to ensure   design accuracy
Reviewing and updating drawings as needed

Posting and downloading drawings to various EDMS
Participating in project meetings and presenting your work


Here are the skills you'll need:

Understand CAD Commands
Semi Proficient in AutoCAD (City and Guilds certification preferable)

Some Knowledge of drafting and design principles
Strong verbal and written communication skills

Some form of further Education after GCSE’s/A Levels
A team player with a keen eye for detail
