About Us:Our client is a dynamic and forward-thinking institution committed to providing a safe, well-maintained, and conducive learning environment for students and staff. We are looking for a proactive and organised Facilities Administrator to join their facilities team.

Role Overview:As a Facilities Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the school's facilities. This role is ideal for candidates with scheduling experience or previous work in a facilities management environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organise and schedule engineers and contractors for maintenance and repair work.
  • Ensure all appointments are logged and managed efficiently to minimize disruption to school operations.
  • Raise and log maintenance issues on the service desk system.
  • Monitor and update the status of open jobs and escalate urgent matters as necessary
  • Update the team regularly on job progress and completion.
  • Assist in raising and processing invoices.
  • Provide general administrative support to the estates and facilities team as needed.

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in scheduling, facilities management, or a similar administrative role is highly desirable.
  • Strong ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and service desk or facilities management software.
