Service Advisor required. Our client is a long-standing family business that have been in the agricultural and Ground care industry for over 100 years. They are now looking for a Service Advisor due to the growth of the business. This will be for the Kings Langley depot.

Candidates will join a busy service department that handle engineers and queries regarding Turf machinery and Commercial vehicles including JCB, Toro, Club Car, Husqvarna and Isuzu.

Service Advisor Position Overview
  • Book in machines & vehicles, ensuring appointments are convenient for the customer and the company and are in line with workshop capacity.
  • Produce accurate job cards, invoices and related customer information, providing relevant information to both the workshop and customers.
  • Liaise with the parts department to ensure parts availability, keeping customers informed.
  • Inform customers on the progress of each job, ensuring authority for any additional work before this is completed.
  • Collect any money/signed authority due prior to the release of a vehicle or machine and ensure this is processed promptly.
  • Provide customers with explanations of all work carried out and recommendations, optimising additional upselling opportunities to enhance the customer experience
  • Maintain records of all Service customers to enable customer follow-ups to be carried out.
  • Respond to telephone and email enquiries in a prompt, courteous and efficient manner.
  • Some other duties, commensurate with this post, may be assigned by your Line Manager.
Service Advisor Position Requirements
  • As you will be working closely with the Service Team and the relevant manufacturers some technical knowledge would be an advantage
  • Strong administrative experience is essential
  • Ability to work well under pressure, handle conflicting demands, identify priorities and schedule work appropriately
  • Able to maintain strong working relationships with colleagues, the customer base and the manufacturers
Service Advisor Position Remuneration
  • Salary: £25,000-£26,000, based on experience.
  • Holiday Package: 24 days + 8BH
  • Pension - 3% employee contribution and 7% employer contribution
  • Life Assurance including dependent's pension.Vehicle provided for any mobile aspects.
  • Ongoing training as required.
  • Monday- Friday with some Saturday mornings required.
