The Role:Reporting to the Strategic Planning Director, this newly created post of Category Analyst will provide support, analysis, category trends and insights for our Sales and Management teams, our shareholders, as well as our suppliers and customers.Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the Sales teams to create customer performance updates.
  • Create compelling data and insight-led proposals for key customers.
  • Track market performance and competitor activity including pricing and promotional strategies.
  • Identify trends, opportunities and threats in the market.
  • Become an expert with industry data (incl. Nielsen/Circana and Dunnhumby), tracking performance, identifying trends and opportunities.
  • Utilise our own internal sales data to track and measure performance by channel.
  • Support the Brand Management team with market performance information to share with our partners.
  • Track performance and ROI of our marketing initiatives with our key customers
The Ideal Candidate:
  • You will ideally have 1-2 years’ experience within a similar role of an Analytical nature.
  • Strong Excel with the ability to manipulate and present large datasets
  • Keen eye for detail as well as a commercial mindset
