Our client, a prestigious and historic hotel located on a private island in South Devon, is seeking a talented and experienced Executive Chef to lead their culinary team. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire a dedicated kitchen team to deliver high-quality, creative dishes that align with the hotels reputation for excellence.
- Develop and design seasonal menus using locally sourced ingredients, with a focus on sustainability and innovation.
- Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, inventory management, and adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Work closely with the management team to ensure that the culinary offering complements the overall guest experience.
- Maintain the highest standards of food quality and presentation, ensuring that all dishes leaving the kitchen exceed guest expectations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef in a high-end or luxury hotel, restaurant, or similar environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, train, and motivate a diverse kitchen team.
