Responsibilities as a Pastry Commis Chef

  • Preparing, baking, and presenting a wide array of picture-perfect pastries including cakes, cookies, pies, and bread
  • Going above and beyond to follow a variety of both traditional and modern recipes
  • Ensuring the consistent delivery of excellent pastry dishes
  • Following correct handling procedures and maintaining appropriate food temperatures.
  • Decorating pastries and desserts using various icings, toppings, and techniques to ensure visually stunning presentations
