A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Finance Assistant to join the accounts team of a regional law firm based in the Southwest! The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the organisation's financial operations, working in a supportive environment where you can thrive and hit the ground running!

JOB TITLE:Finance Assistant

LOCATION: Kingsbridge

SALARY:拢24,000 - 拢26,000 dependent on experience

HOURS:?Monday to Friday, Full time, 09:00am- 5:00pm, Hybrid and full flexibility

THE COMPANY: A professional and well established regional law firm based in the Southwest with a client base stretching locally as well as internationally! This company have a passion for their people; they believe in investing in their staff to help them reach their full potential.

THE ROLE: As a Finance Assistant you will be reporting directly to the Financial officer, taking responsibility and ownership of the day to day maintenance of either the office account or client account. This is a fantastic opportunity working within the accounts team who describe themselves as friendly, professional and relaxed.

Duties include:

  • Undertake daily banking functions, including daily reconciliations.
  • Prepare cheques and assist with bill processing.
  • Support internal stakeholders with ledger queries.
  • Assist with the annual Solicitors Accounts rules audit.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly accounts packs.
  • Contribute to the annual audit.
  • Manage petty cash and credit cards.
  • Oversee the creditors ledger.
  • Provide ad hoc reporting as required.

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

路 Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

路 Previous experience working within accounts or as a Finance assistant is essential

路 AAT level 3 or 4

路 Thrive in a busy work environment

路 Ability to work as part of a team

路 Proficient in using XERO

路 Experience in using Microsoft Excel

路 Highly organised and able to prioritise workload
