TEMPORARY - perm Accounts Payable Assistant

Full time office-based role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts payable assistant for one of our clients based in the Kingston upon Thames area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Finance Director you will be working as part of small friendly team in the finance department, you will be responsible on boarding new suppliers.
- Entering supplier invoices into the system and emailing the invoices for approval.
- Entering codes and Purchase orders on the system
- Assisting the finance team with further finance duties as required
Person Specification:
- Previous experience as an accounts payable assistant or accounts payable administrator is essential.
- Working Knowledge of Sage, Oracle Net Suite will be a distinct advantage; however x-training can be provided.
- Good working knowledge of accounting systems is essential i.e. Sage
- Numerate with a high level of accuracy and good attention to detail
- Ability to work on own initiative, organise and prioritise workload
- A can do, positive approach to work
- A flexible team player who enjoys working as part of small team.
- Excellent communication skills
- Lives in or within an easy commutable distance of the Kingston area.
