Team Leader (Sports Turf)

Full Time, 40 hours per week, 15.13 - 15.50 per hour depending on experience

We have a great new opportunity for a Team Leader (Sports Turf) to join the team in the North Surrey/SW London area.

You will be maintains the parks and open spaces of the Royal Borough of Kingston-upon-Thames and Elmbridge. The Team Leader plays a crucial role in maintaining and preparing high-quality sports surfaces, primarily focusing on cricket and football pitches. This position requires a strong work ethic, meticulous attention to detail, and a genuine passion for preparing pristine playing surfaces.

Requirements:

* Have previous team leader experience

* Experience in maintaining fine turf surfaces in a sports environment.

* Knowledge of cricket pitch preparation techniques and best practices.

* Experience with line marking and other grounds maintenance tasks.

* Ability to operate grounds maintenance equipment safely and efficiently.

* Experienced using a wide variety of small engine machinery

* Full, clean driving licence.

* PA1 & PA6 is desirable.

* Reliable and conscientious and able to work on their own initiative.

These are permanent roles available after a successful probation period of 13 to 15 weeks
