UK Regional Sales Manager - Marine / Offshore

Elevation Recruitment are delighted to be working with a globally recognised leader in the manufacture of Pyrotechnics, Hazard Lighting and Safety products.Our client supply into a number of key sectors and this role will specifically focus on the Commercial Marine and Offshore sectors, selling predominantly through key distribution partners.
The UK Regional Sales Manager will play a key role in growing the business and is focussed on winning new business and maintaining our market share in the UK market. The role has 2 Sales Admin staff as direct reports so a regular presence in the office is an ideal requirement.
Knowledge of the UK Marine and Offshore markets is essential, the candidate must have previous experience of business development, key account management and delivering value propositions to customers. The UK Sales Manager will be responsible for:
- Overall responsibility for the UK P&L of the Marine & Offshore sector of the business.
- Oversee the business development activities and delivery of new customer growth plans.
- Manage key distribution partnerships and explore all opportunities to grow sales.
- Manage and support large end user clients.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across the wider group to deliver sustainable growth and excellent customer service.
- Report regularly to the VP Marine Sales current and future pipeline
- Conduct and report regular competitor analysis.
Skills and Experience needed for the UK Regional Sales Manager:
- Minimum 5 years BD/key account management experience.
- Previous relevant experience within the Marine and Offshore industries.
- Able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible to travel when required.
- Strong communicator, both verbal and written.
- Self-starter who is able to multi-task and prioritise to meet deadlines
- Strong problem-solving skills, and able to use initiative
- Skilled at building relationships and working effectively with cross-functional teams
