Senior SQL DBA - Fully Remote - £65k

Great opportunity for a highly experienced Database Administrator to join an exciting growing team! If you are an expert DBA who is equally experienced working with SQL server, this is the role for you!

The Role

  • Configure and maintain a range of client databases to ensure high levels of performance, availability and security.
  • Understand the needs of multiple clients and their users.
  • Combine high customer service standards with a strong commercial awareness to deliver high client satisfaction ratings within different contract specifications.
  • Represent in a technical role in discussion with clients as needed, with the confidence to lead technical meetings where appropriate.
  • Install, upgrade and manage database applications.
  • Undertake performance tuning of databases
  • Develop processes for database security.
  • Optimise performance and mitigate risk.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot database errors.
  • Analyse, solve and correct issues in real-time, providing end to end problem resolution.
  • Refine and automate regular processes.
  • Take part in an on-call rota to provide 24/7 on-call support as needed to any client.
