Role of Assistant Manager:
The Assistant Store Manager will be responsible for leading a team of sales consultants, ensuring that customer expectations are met with the highest level of customer care. The Assistant Store Manager will support the Manager in day-to-day management of the store, deputising in the Managers absence.
Main responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the team in delivering great customer service and achieving sales targets.
- Responsible for all aspects of store operation, ensuring policies and procedures are understood and implemented by all the team.
- Motivate and develop the team to improve performance.
- Responsible for stock management and visual merchandising, together with head office.
- Be expert product and fit advisor, training team and providing customer advice.
- Ensure that the brand ethos is understood and shared by all the team.
- Representing the company within the local retail community
Who you are:
- Previous retail management experience is essential, ideally within the lingerie business, but will consider other backgrounds.
- Passionate about customer service and about helping the customer feel comfortable in the bra fitting experience.
- Great communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and multitask
- Budget management experience, including payroll
- Leadership and training skills
