Our client based in the Tolworth area, Kingston are looking for a yard operative, to undertake some labouring duties which will include keeping the site clean and tidy. Ensure all area's are maintained well to ensure a safe working environment. The main part of this role is to load and strap loads onto the lorries heading out for deliveries. If you have experience of this kind of work in your previous roles, then this would be advantageous. Otherwise this position would suit someone who is happy undertaking manual work.
Please note this is very much a manual position working outside most of the time, therefore you must be happy doing this kind of work.
You will also require safety boots / shoes and a high viz.
Excellent communications skills are essential along with the ability to be pro active and productive.
Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm but longer hours are available if you wish to work more. Pay rate is £12.50 per hour.
This position starts ASAP and is on an ongoing basis. You must live in or within commutable travelling distance to Tolworth, in Surrey.
