Cityworx are recruiting on behalf of a client who is looking for an experienced Care Quality Supervisor for their high quality domiciliary care services based in the Kingston upon Thames area.

Our client is an established care provider who delivers quality, professional, person centred services to clients in the community. Working alongside the Registered Manager, you will promote outstanding levels of quality assurance, compliance and training across the business.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Meet new clients and manage team of senior care staff to carry out care and risk assessments
  • Keep accurate and up to date records for all clients at all times (including care pans, body maps, meds competency forms etc.)
  • Carry out six-monthly QA reviews with clients and action necessary adjustments to care plan
  • Spot-check care workers, highlight issues and identify training needs
  • Help maintain care assessments, risk assessments, care records and MAR sheets including audits
  • Work with the Registered Manager and Duty Manager on CQC Action Plan, CQC files and evidence gathering, work to ensure compliance and beyond
  • Contribute fully to CQC inspections and QA inspections by local authority partners
  • Liaise with social care teams as issues arise and attend clients reviews as necessary
  • Amend care tasks and meds tasks responsively and as required
  • Organise, manage and contribute to induction training and six-monthly refresher training (includes updates and workshops) ensure training is effective, compliant and always up to date
  • On-call duties one week in every four (escalated emergencies only minimal call time)

For this role, we are looking for an individual withGood knowledge of CQC requirements, ideally with experience in a domiciliary care environment. You will hold/be working towards NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
