The Opportunity

A highly regarded law firm is seeking a Residential Property Solicitor (Associate level, 3+ PQE) to join its well-established Residential Property team in Kingston.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and motivated solicitor or legal executive to handle a diverse range of residential property matters within a firm that has an outstanding reputation in conveyancing.

The Ideal Candidate

The firm is looking for an ambitious and client-focused professional with:

  • 3+ years' PQE in residential conveyancing
  • A strong track record in handling freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, re-mortgages, deeds of variation, and transfers of equity
  • The ability to manage a caseload independently, providing a high-quality, client-focused service
  • Excellent technical expertise and knowledge of the latest developments in property law
  • A proactive and commercial approach with a commitment to business development and marketing
  • Proven experience in meeting fee and time targets
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain excellent client relationships

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a broad caseload of residential property transactions, including:
    • Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
    • Re-mortgages
    • Transfers of equity
    • Deeds of variation of leases
  • Providing expert legal advice, ensuring a smooth and efficient conveyancing process for clients
  • Working collaboratively within a highly regarded and experienced residential property team
  • Engaging in business development activities, networking, and client relationship management
  • Ensuring all transactions comply with Law Society Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS) standards
