Job Title: Payroll Officer

Location: Kingston, Surbiton, New Malden, Wimbledon, Clapham, Teddington, Hampton Wick, Hampton, Richmond, Kew

Salary: £30,000-£35,000 + Benefits + Hybrid working

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experiences Payroll Officer to join their team on a full-time basis. The role requires a reliable, confident, and pro-active person, who has excellent team building and stakeholder relations exposure, along with proven general payroll and reporting experience. The Payroll Officer will primarily be responsible for liaising closely with their payroll colleagues in order to ensure collaborative working. The successful candidate must be approachable and knowledgable. Accurate and timely information flow between HR and Payroll will require close interaction with HR Advisors and Administrators. A fantastic opporunity for someone to work within a busy organisation.

Key Resposibilities:

  • Assist with end to end payroll processing
  • SMP, P60, P11D and PSA
  • Manually calculating gross to net
  • Data analysis and payroll reporting
  • Labour cost reporting
  • Update and maintain of payroll system
  • Ideally have experience with ADP
  • Proficient on Excel

Skills & Experience:

  • Must be a team player and have excellent team building and relationship
  • Proven Payroll Experience
  • Ability to prioritise work and achieve tight deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good initiative and work ethic
  • Problem solving skills
  • A desire to learn and develop their own payroll knowledge and experience
  • Basic understanding of payroll accounting and labour cost
  • Meticulous, high level of attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated strong self-motivation, ability to liaise with various stakeholders and ability to work under pressure
  • MS Excel skills at intermediate level
  • MS Office proficient
